Samostan Awam Gesar
Samostan Awam Gesar follows the great Padling lineage of Tibetan Buddhism and works under the compassionate guidance of H.H. Khenchen Lama Rinpoche. Rinpoche has given the monastery the name “Awam Gesar”.
Awam means union of wisdom and compassion. Gesar is the name of the victorious enlightened King Gesar of Ling in Tibet and a powerful Dharma protector, a Nirmanakaya emanation of Guru Padmasambhava.
